It is interesting or even necessary for many applications to follow them up continuously. For example measuring levels (water or tank levels), energy consumption (on line logging of electricity and gas meters to anticipate market circumstances), temperature measurements (to prevent legionella), etc. The combination of the TELEMASTERi software and the TeleController TC9 results in a datalogger that completely meets your needs.

This datalogger optimally makes use of the “push’ mechanism: the dataloggers send the logged data to the FTP-server. It is in contrast with the more expensive
“pull” technology, where the server has to call all the dataloggers (via Dial In). Via the even cheaper GPRS-technology, this datalogger is certainly suitable for the on
line follow up of measurements. GPRS makes an uninterrupted connection with the Internet. You only have to pay when data has been transferred over the connection.

Only TeleController TC9 with TELEMASTERi software needs to be configured. The datalogger can find this configuration file on the FTP-server. Once the configuration
file has been loaded, the datalogger starts logging and sending data. Several parameters such as the measuring intervals (weight, unit) of the channels and the frequency for sending data are set down in this configuration file. Moreover the datalog system can real time execute and log calculations between channels.

The saved data is sent in XML-format via FTP. This open XML-format allows you to easily process the data and to bring this data into the central monitoring software.
This can be an internet based application, that you can develop yourself. E.D.&A. can also brings you in contact with its partners, who can take care of it down to the
last detail.

- Datalogger with “push” mechanism: increases the continuity and reduces the initial investment costs.
- Reduced communication costs with a GPRS-connection with regard to the classical GSM-connection.
- Easily configurable datalogger.
- Logged data is sent via XMLmessages that can easily be shown.
