Via the many-sided PC software TeleSmart, the user can use simple parameters to adjust the datalog and alarm module of the TeleController. TeleSmart is able to use different media, for instance PSTN and GSM. The alarms can be sent in the form of an SMS, an e-mail, semascript, fax, etc. For each alarm you can adjust the receivers and the text you want to send. This parameter setting can be done on the spot as well as at a distance, by which it is possible to change the alarm texts and receivers in certain installations at a distance. The status of the analog and digital inputs is being saved in the datalog memory (time-stamped records). This datalogging can be adjusted on the spot or at a distance. The datalog memory is read out and saved on the hard disk in a text file. These files can be processed in programs such as MS Excel.
